My dad has provided us with a most pleasant thought for the day. I suspect he’s looking forward to spending a week here. I know I am!

I’m loving today’s poem at Poetry Daily by Eliot Khalil Wilson. Gorgeous imagery throughout.
Some of my favorites:

“To ride this silent film/under cobbled Paris, her exposed-bone sycamores”
“a woman wearing falling snow”
“a dress of movie light/a dress that’s all of May”
“a woman like a sudden pillar of doves”
